The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Monroe can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Teddy Humphries
Condolence: My deepest sympathies to the entire family. I worked with Buck in the Hercules Covington Engineering Dept when I first got out of college back in 1976 up until the fire in 1980. Buck was always a friend willing to help out us "newbies". Enjoyed many a talk at the break table with Buck....he always had a story to share or something to make you laugh.

Dear Pat and Family
Your Family has been in my thoughts recently
and I just received an email, from Amy, that
Buck had passed away. I have many good memories of Buck, you and your children from
our years as neighbors. My love and prayers

Condolence From: Cindy Bursey
Condolence: Pat, Liz, boys, grandkids and great-grandkids: Please know that you have my heartfelt sympathy. Buck was fun to be around and yet a man to be admired. He has taken on an even larger mission than the one he had on earth and the angels will be in awe when he demonstrates his abilities to accomplish any task set before him.

Thinking of all of you as you meet the coming days.
