Obituary for Sylvia Jean Robertson (Wills)

Sylvia Jean Wills Robertson, age 73 of the Springs Nursing Home, formerly of Dunn's Gap Road, Hot Springs, Virginia died Friday, May 13, 2016 at the Springs Nursing Home in Bath County. She was born July 23, 1942 in Bath County, to the late Clarence Wills and Mary Elizabeth Kelso Wills. She was a homemaker her entire life and attended of Life Line Ministries. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Robertson; three brothers, Leroy Wills, Laffette Wills and Randolph Wills; and five sisters, Marie Robertson, Joyce Angle, Frances Edwards, Betty Smith and Jesse Rose. She is survived by her brother Robert "Bobby" Wills of Covington; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy McCallister Miller of Warm Springs and Lucille Robertson of Natural Well; two special nephews, Glenwood Wills and Henry Wills; her special friends and caregivers, Scott and Diane Robertson of Hot Springs; and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. in the Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge with the Reverend Bill Gram officiating. There will be no formal visitation. The family suggest memorial contributions take the form of donations to the Bath County Animal Welfare Foundation, P.O. Box 716, Hot Springs, Virginia 24445. Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge is handling arrangements.
