Floretta Sue Pullen
Floretta Sue Pullen, age 71, of 916 Hamilton Avenue, Clifton Forge, Virginia died Sunday, August 2, 2015 at her residence. She was born March 14, 1944 in Clifton Forge to the late John Henry and Myrtle Wilcher Pullen. She was a switchboard operator for LewisGale Hospital - Alleghany and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. She was a BINGO player, a NASCAR fan, and loved her grandson, Jackson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Loiselle. She is survived by a son, Roy Neal "Bucky" Pullen and wife Karyn, as well as a grandson, Jackson Luke Pullen, of Clifton Forge; three sisters, Jean Terry of Clifton Forge, Carolyn Bush and husband James of Covington, and Pat Bowen of Rice; many friends and coworkers at LewisGale Hospital - Alleghany; and her pet, "Cinnamon", the cat. In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm in Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, Covington with Reverend Doug Hollenbeck officiating. The family will receive friends anytime at the home of Bucky and Karyn Pullen, 908 Acacia Avenue, Clifton Forge, VA. Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions in Sue's name to the Jackson River Enterprises Social Fund, C/O Todd Anderson, CEO, 825 W.
