Obituary

Donald Reese "Donnie" or "Bully" Wilhelm, Jr., age 55, of 4609 Longdale Furnace Road, Clifton Forge, died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the home of his sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Michael Seldomridge, 406 Craig Ave, Covington. Donnie was born December 23, 1954 in Clifton Forge, Virginia to Donald R. Wilhelm, Sr. and the late Merle Knick Wilhelm. He was employed in the maintenance department of Douthat State Park. He loved hunting, fishing, and NASCAR, and was an enduring fan of the late Dale Earnhart, Sr. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela K. Wilhelm. He is survived by his father Donald Wilhelm, Sr. and girlfriend Darlene Brown of Clifton Forge, he is survived by two sisters, Connie Snook and husband Jerry of Clifton Forge, and Linda W. Seldomridge and husband Michael "Mike" of Covington; a number of cousins, including special cousin Janie Brackenridge; an uncle and aunt, Ted and Phyllis Wilhelm; a niece, Amanda Michelle Snead and fiancée Bert Hoke of Clifton Forge; a nephew, Anthony Wayne "Tony" Snead of Clifton Forge; special friends, Junior and Cathryn Dunbar and their daughters; and his guardian protector and Linda's pet, "Stinker". A memorial service will be held at a later date. Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge is in charge of arrangements.
