Obituary

Freddie Lee Nicely, age 71, of 4607 Midland Trail Covington, formerly of Clifton Forge, died Saturday June 26, 2010 at Alleghany Manor Nursing Home, Covington. Born September 25, 1938, in Clifton Forge, VA, he was a son of the Late Roy H. and Ruth Montgomery Nicely, Sr.. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed working and spending time at the Community Services Clubhouse in Clifton Forge. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters; Joyce N. Vess, and Dorothy N. Morgan, five brothers; his twin-Frankie Dee Nicely, Roy Nicely, Jr., Stanley Nicely, Odell Nicely, and Garnett Nicely, Sr. He is survived by a sister-in-law; Lulubelle Nicely and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM in Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery, Clifton Forge with the Rev. Bill Dillon officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service. Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge is handling the arrangements.
