Obituary

Clem Douglas Trent, Sr., age 96 of Hampton, VA formerly of 316 Church Street Clifton Forge died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Hampton , Virginia. He was born January 21, 1914 in Richmond, Virginia, the son of the late Eliza and Adeline Roach Trent. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, where he worked as a mechanic. He was also a member of the Veteran's Of Foreign War. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Inez Alderson Trent in May of 1994. He is survived by a son Clem Douglas Trent, Jr and his wife Elvalee H. Trent, of Hampton, and a granddaughter, Clara Lyn Trent. A funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 PM on Saturday from the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge, with the Reverend W. Pembroke Hall officiating. A private interment will take place at a later time in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge. Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge is handling the arrangements.
